SUMMARY:Thesis Writing Group
DESCRIPTION:Do you often feel alone while writing?\nAre you struggling to work on your thesis consistently?\nWould you like to meet other students in the final stages of their degree and learn immediately applicable writing strategies? \nIf so\, this regular group format could be interesting for you! \nTarget group:\nStudents of all disciplines who want to work on a Bachelor’s or Master’s thesis.\nWhether you have just started\, are in the middle\, or are about to graduate is not important\, no previous knowledge is necessary. \n  \nLanguage: English \nLocation: Hardenbergstr. 34\, 10623 Berlin \nStart: 14 August 2023\, six dates\, each from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. \n1.         Monday 14th August\, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. \n2.         Thursday 17th August\, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. \n3.         Friday 18th August\, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. \n4.         Monday 21st August\, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. \n5.         Thursday 24th August\, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. \n6.         Friday 25th August\, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. \nThe number of participants is limited to 15. \nApplication deadline: 30th July 2023 \n  \nMore information can be found here. \n  \nParticipation condition:\nWe preferentially invite applications from students with an international background or from students who are not writing their thesis in their native language. Others may also be admitted\, but preference will be given to the former group. In any case\, you should be able to converse\, read and write well in English. \nFor the format to work well\, and out of respect for the other group members\, we are looking for students who are serious about attending all meetings. We keep a waiting list\, but it is not possible to join the group after it has already started. Therefore\, we ask you to sign up only if you can attend all meetings. \nAdmission is by a short phone call after the registration deadline. This is not an “entrance exam” but a way to check if this format is right for you and to answer any questions you may have about it.
