Electronic Application

The application to the GPE study program is easily done with our user friendly GPE online system. Our GPE-Online-System is the main information centre for you as well as for us. During the entire application process, the current stage of application is shown in the profile. 

Application Period for the next Intake

Although the GPE Online System is open during the year, the application period always
starts this year on November 1 and ends on March 31 for GPE in Beriln. The application period for GPE-Digital is open from October 1 until August 15.
Within this period, the online application form has to be filled out to be recognized as a potential candidate to the upcoming intake. 

Application Procedure

Step 1:  Starting your Electronic Application

1. Electronic registration is the first step of the GPE application procedure. Do not hesitate to register, in case you change your mind later, you will have no difficulties to cancel your application.
   Important! Please choose a login (username) that is not your email address. Your password should be longer than 7 digits and should not contain special characters (A-Z, a-z, 0-9 are allowed).
2. Please enter all data in our contact form and click on the button “Submit”.
   Please note that only applications through our GPE online system will be considered.
3. Just create only ONE application profile.
   Should you for any reason have forgotten your login or password please take the following steps:

• LOGIN
  Please send an email at info(at)gpe.tu-berlin.de using the following reference line
  GPE Intake - Family Name, Firstname – GPE Online - login forgotten
• PASSWORD
  By using the following link you will be directed to the website to change your password.
  Lost Password
  Note: you need your birthdate – format MM/DD/YYYY and the email address used for the online registration. 

Step 2: Completion of the Electronic Application

1. Please login with your user account information.
2. Go to profile and check at the “user” tab whether your user data is correct and complete the fields. Choose the main address first – postal address is only required in case you are not available at the main address. 
3. By clicking on the application tab, you will be directed to the online application form.
4. Fill all application fields and finish your electronic application
   by activating the checkbox for “submit application” which you will find bottom right corner.

Only now your application is complete.

Due to long visa application procedures, an early processing of an application requires submission of the application well in advance of the deadline. Therefore, GPE employs a rolling admission system so that admissions can already be declared before the deadline. 

Important: Please bear in mind that enquiries regarding the application process will be exclusively answered per e-mail, so please refrain from contacting us via telephone. Once you submit your application we kindly ask you to wait 2 weeks for our reply, before starting sending enquiry e-mails.
